Golin approached us to create a mockup of a bar in a ZeroG plane for Truly Hard Seltzer.
The visual was used in press releases and a dedicated website was launched to kick off the competition to be part of this once in a lifetime experience.
As the press release describes; Drinkers will experience the light, fun, and refreshing flavors of Truly while they sip, float and flip at 32,000 feet in the same zero gravity environment utilized by astronauts. The one-of-a-kind pop-up bar will bring the brand's "Lightly Fantastic" creative campaign to life, celebrating the joyful feeling that Truly gives you and the lighter side of life. This once-in-a-lifetime adventure takes off this summer.
Our role was to create a mockup that met with Truly’s brand guidelines and gave a realistic impression on what the bar may look like.
As no official designs were finalised, We started with sketching a rough mock of the concept and working with Golin to achieve the right look and feel before building a rough mock up of a Boeing 737 fuselage. After adding in bar elements , furniture and several flavours of the product, we working on lighting. The brief require a brightly lit set with Neon elements, reflective cans and some seltzer floating in zero G.
A lot of time was spent on lighting and adjusting various elements to ensure the idea was clear, and the brand and products were represented in line with brand guidelines.
